Toss countermeasures
Participating in a competition with two or more ROMs, intentionally matching them, and awarding a winner or loser so that one ROM has an advantage is called a toss. This is strictly prohibited in this tournament.
Therefore, when applying to participate in the main tournament, you will be asked to present the “Pokémon HOME” battle history page as shown in the attached image. In the case of a match result that clearly indicates a toss, there is a possibility that the player will be withdrawn from the main tournament at the discretion of the management.
Due to the friendly competition system, rematches are more likely to occur if you try at the same time.
We ask that players who win a match wait 15 seconds after finishing a match before starting the next match, and players who lose a match wait 30 seconds.

Q&A
-
Can I participate in the commemorative competition on both DAY1 and DAY2?
-
Yes, you can.
-
If I participate with a ROM that is not linked to “Pokémon HOME”, will I not be able to participate in the main battle even if I am in the top 8?
-
No, you can’t participate. As a countermeasure against toss, we require the submission of your Pokémon HOME match history. If you cannot submit it, you will not be able to participate in the main competition.
-
Can I change the parties used in the preliminaries and the main battle?
-
Yes, you can change parties.
-
Is it okay to stream/video the preliminary round of fellow tournaments?
-
Yes, you can do without obtaining permission from the management. However, please refrain from prohibited acts such as slander.
-
I was unintentionally matched with the same player for two consecutive games. Is it okay if we discuss via direct messages on Twitter and we both surrender and draw at the same time?
-
No, it’s prohibited. Discussing with your opponent to decide the result falls under the act of tossing. However, there is no problem in contacting each other and avoiding mutual matching.
